About Cliff Harman

Illinois native, husband, father of two, and professional artist Cliff Harman has spent a lifetime pursuing creativity.

After a successful 16-year corporate career, Cliff made the decision in 2014 to follow his passion and become a full-time artist. That leap of faith ultimately led to the creation of the SIP Parties experience that thousands of guests have come to enjoy throughout Chicagoland.

Since then, Cliff’s artwork has been displayed at the White House, featured in national commercials, included in private collections of celebrities, and selected for an upcoming film project.

Art isn’t Cliff’s only creative outlet. He also brings a background in live entertainment to every event. In 2004 and 2005, he performed with a comedy troupe at The Second City Chicago and later spent several years performing stand-up comedy. Those experiences helped shape the energetic, interactive, and personality-driven style that has become a signature part of SIP Parties.

In 2016, Cliff founded SIP Parties with a simple goal: to create an experience that combines art, entertainment, and genuine human connection. Today, he continues to bring that vision to life at private events, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, and public paint experiences across Chicagoland.

His favorite part of every event is watching guests discover that they are capable of creating something they never thought possible—and leaving with a masterpiece they’re proud to call their own.

Cliff set up a really awesome Slightly Intox-O-Painted night at Pizzeria NEO in Saint Charles. Definite success! Everyone had a ton of fun and the paintings were fantastic! I heard some self-doubt going around about skill level and ability beforehand but I think Cliff did a great job- he was good at getting everyone engaged and he made sure the process wasn’t intimidating. The results were very cool. I think everyone left very pleased and seemed to have a really good time. Wine, good food and painting with a pro- what’s not to like?? Very unique. Looking forward to another.
